Stocks declined Monday after retail sales fell in June for a third month, though stock indexes closed off their lows as the euro improved against the dollar. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 49.88 points, or 0.4%, to 12,727.21. Broadcast stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was down 6.375, or 1.5%, to 429.829.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.014, or 1.7%, to 235.693.
