Dream Weaver breaking into the radio business

A four-station double duopoly serving the unrated Indiana territory to the west of Fort Wayne and the north of Indianapolis is going to a new radio company headed by Wade Weaver and called Dream Weaver Marketing LLC.
The stations include WJOT AM-FM Wabash IN, WARU-AM Peru IN and WARU-FM Roann IN.


The seller is Mid-America Radio Group, headed by David C. Keister.

The deal is worth a cool million, with the bulk of the compensation backloaded via a promissory note. Dream Weaver is paying a $25K deposit, will come up with another $75K in cash at closing and will strike a note for the remaining $900K.

WJOT-AM is a Class D in 1510 kHz with 250 W-D, ND

WJOT-FM is a Class A on 105.9 MHz with 6 kW @ 318’.

WARU-AM is a Class D on 1600 kHz with 1 kW-D, 37 W-N, ND.

WARU-FM is a Class A on 101.9 MHz with 3.6 kW @ 423’.
