Salem Media Group has given greater responsibilities to the individual who has been serving as GM of its Sacramento station group by promoting him to Regional Vice President.

Getting the bump up at Salem is Mark Durkin.

In addition to his continued responsibilities in Sacramento, Durkin will oversee Salem’s radio stations in San Francisco, Seattle, and the Oxnard-Ventura, Calif., markets.

The announcement comes as Salem’s collection of AM radio stations in Miami-Fort Lauderdale has a new boss: Franc Boza.

Boza will serve as GM for the stations and joins the company known for its conservative talk, business talk, and non-secular music and teaching formats from Deadcenter Marketing, where he served as VP/Sales and Marketing. Boza also has sports marketing experience.

Additionally, VP/National Programming Chris Gould has added SVP stripes and will hold responsibility for the placement of national ministry programs on Salem’s Talk and Teaching stations.
