Kevin Caves and Hal J. Singer of Economists Inc. wrote a letter to “Local Choice” co-sponsors Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and John Thune (R-SD), explaining why their attempt to save cable subscribers money “by regulatory fiat” would in fact probably increase their costs, all while inflicting discriminatory damage on broadcasters.
