Ed Fritts dead at 94

Former radio station owner Ed Fritts died Wednesday in Paducah, KY. His only son, Eddie Fritts, also became a broadcaster and headed the NAB for decades.


According to the obituary in the Paducah Sun, Ed Fritts had owned WPAD-AM & FM and WDDJ in the Paducah market and WNBS in Murray, KY.

Ed Fritts died Wednesday at Parkview Rehabilitation Center. He was 94. His funeral will be Saturday at First Christian Church in Paducah.
