Sun Broadcast Group, Inc. announced that Edwin Rivera-Searles has joined the company as Sr. Vice President of Digital Initiatives. He will oversee development of Sun’s digital products including a groundbreaking announcement coming this summer. He will also work with Sun’s current programming lineup to create innovative, interactive listener experiences while adding unique sponsorship opportunities for clients and agencies.

Prior to joining Sun Broadcast Group, Rivera was SVP of Advertising Sales for Cumulus Media Networks / Westwood One. His professional experience also includes executive management roles with Premiere Radio Networks, AMFM Radio Networks, CBS Radio Networks and Univision Television. Ed had been an instrumental part of the recent product transition from Cumulus Media to Westwood One most recently overseeing the Talk & Hispanic business verticals.

Rivera will be based out of Sun Broadcast Group’s New York City office.
