Elections from all over rule

Well, maybe politics wasn’t all that was going on, according to the Project for Excellence in Journalism survey for 6/23/08-6/29-08, but it did lead the pack of stories as usual. What was different was that the US election was prominently joined in the political category by elections in Zimbabwe, and the internal political affairs of Israel got some play from radio journalists. Radio also showed understandable interest in the latest Imus flap. The Supreme Court and the DC handgun ban helped each other onto the top ten chart. Noticably missing, yet again: Iraq.
