Educational Media Foundation has closed on the purchase of a Class C3 facility that is set to drop its Classic Rock format for a nationally distributed Christian Contemporary Music format.
In late March, My Home Team Media LLC announced the sale of KXOR-FM 106.3 in Thibodaux, Louisiana to EMF for $525,000.
KXOR will shift to noncomm status and seeks a main studio waiver, as it will become one of the many “KLOVE” Christian AC affiliates operated by EMF, led by CEO Mike Novak.
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and George Reed of the Jacksonville office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive brokers representing the seller in this transaction.
