EMF closes Reno from Wilks

BergnerEMF Broadcasting (Educational Media Foundation) has closed on their purchase of Classic Rock KURK-FM-FM 92.9 Reno, Nevada, from Wilks Broadcasting for $1.25M. Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. was the exclusive broker in this transaction.

The price was $1.25 million. Bergner tells RBR-TVBR: “EMF continues to fill in their remaining coverage holes-they are a A+ buyer and almost the only buyer out there that is buying sticks, however, they have acquired so many stations over the past 5-7yrs their target list is shrinking fast.”
