EMF says why not Minot

Educational Media Foundation has struck a deal to enter the small North Dakota market of Minot – but they’ll have some work to do before they can begin broadcasting their programming to the local population.

The station the noncommercial religious specialist is getting will be KXNK-FM CP, licensed to the community of Berthold ND.

The seller is True North Community Outreach, headed by Dan Steele.

The price will be $40K cash.

EMF, headed by Mike Novak, will get plenty of technical bang for its buck from the station once constructed – it’s a full Class C on 100.7 MHz with 95 kW @ 984’.
