Roser Communications Network is taking advantage of the opportunity to max out its radio cluster in the Utica-Rome market, taking one of three stations owned and operated there by Educational Media Foundation. EMF usually only requires no more than two stations in any given market.

The station is WRCK-FM, licensed to Utica. It will go to Ken Roser’s group in a cash deal valued at $425K.
The station is a Class A on 100.7 MHz with 1.6 kW @ 627’.

EMF operates two noncommercial Christian networks, K-LOVE and Air1. It will hang on to Class B 107.3 WKVU-FM Utica NY and Class A 93.5 WOKR-FM Remsen NY.

Roser will be adding WRCK to a group consisting of the following:
* WBGK-FM Newport Village NY 99.7 Country
* WSKS-FM Whitesboro NY 97.9 CHR
* WSKU-FM Little Falls NY 105.5 CHR
* WADR-AM Remsen NY 1480 Standards
* WUTQ-AM Utica NY 1550 Standards

Roser has two other stations that are not part of the Utica-Rome market, WVTL-AM New Amsterdam and WBUG-FM Fort Plain.

Kozacko Media Services represented EMF in the deal.
