Emmis Interactive announced it is opening up its catalogue of custom products, tools and games to radio broadcasters and other local media companies to purchase a la carte.

“Radio stations, magazines and television stations now have the opportunity to use our customized online tools, whether or not they are served by our proprietary BaseStation platform,” Deborah Esayian, co-president of Emmis Interactive said. “These products provide real revenue opportunities for media entities of any size or market.”
Confidence Pool, one of those custom online products, provides media websites with football weekly pick-’em pools that engage audiences. The interactive game can also be used for non-sporting competitions, such as reality and award shows.

“The kickoff of the football season presents the perfect opportunity for media sites to get on board with this product,” Esayian said. “And beyond engagement of an audience, these products provide meaningful sponsorship opportunities for advertisers.”

Other products now available a la carte include Emmis Interactive’s iTunes Music Storefront technology, with its fully integrated 6-million song iTunes library; SOUNDBOARD, which turns your music testing into an interactive experience for listeners; Moderated Chats; and custom games including Texas Hold ’Em, Word Search, Sudoku, and Pick N’ Win. More information and a complete list of available products can be found on the Emmis Interactive website.

Since announcing it was going to market its services to radio broadcasters and other local media companies in late April, Emmis Interactive has announced partnerships with Renda Broadcasting, Big League Broadcasting, Lincoln Media and Corus, as well as announcing a licensing agreement with the iTunes Store to market its custom Storefront technology.
