StreamGuysEnco and StreamGuys want to tighten automation and streaming workflows in order to enrich business opportunities and technical capabilities from production to delivery. With their partnership, they hope to give broadcasters a single solution that integrates more flexible advertising options, better video resources and cloud storage to minimize hardware and operating costs.

Content delivery network and streaming media provider SteamGuys will host live streaming, podcasting and monetization services while radio and TV automation and playout company Enco will deliver multichannel audio, video and metadata from its DAD radio automation, MOM TV automation and Visual Radio systems to StreamGuys’ cloud-based CDN architecture.ENCO-Automation

Enco GM Ken Frommert says the partnership will help owners extend their over-the-air signal to audiences that increasingly consume radio and TV via fixed and mobile streaming. Furthermore, StreamGuys’ ability to virtualize all of these services in the cloud – including ENCO automation workflows – will keep costs and complexity low.

“We will help ENCO extend its reach through the remainder of the signal chain and onto the end user’s media player, and remove the burden from its customers,” says StreamGuys President Kiriki Delany.
