Entercom New England announced a new, multi-year deal with Papa Gino’s Holding Corp, the parent company of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo.  The well-known restaurant chains will continue their ten-year partnership with Entercom through a sponsorship of portions of the Red Sox Radio Network.  The company will also have a presence on Boston Celtics broadcasts throughout the playoff run and continuing next season.

As part of the agreement, D’Angelo will present the “Starting Nine” prior to each game on the Red Sox Radio Network.  The “Inside Pitch” pre-game segment will be sponsored by Papa Gino’s.  The restaurants will also purchase K-cards, which are distributed at Fenway Park; co-sponsor the Dale and Holley poll on weei.com; and be featured in other key areas of the website.

“We value our relationship with WEEI and continue to benefit from its large New England audience and quality programming,” said Michael McManama, SVP/Brand Development for Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo.  “Like our guests, we receive our sports information from WEEI, listen to games on the radio and root for our home teams.  We’re proud of our ten year relationship with WEEI and look forward to advertising on the Celtics and Red Sox broadcasts.”

Headquartered in Dedham, Mass., Papa Gino’s Holdings Corp includes 375 company owned and licensed Papa Gino’s pizzerias and D’Angelo sandwich shops located throughout New England. The company is poised to stretch beyond the New England borders, opening up restaurants along the Eastern seaboard, including the markets of Albany, Hartford, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida.  Papa Gino’s Holdings Corp currently employs approximately 5,000 people.
