TargetSpot, Inc., a streaming media ad company, announced a partnership with Entercom that allows advertisers to utilize its ad serving technology and marketplace on Entercom's nationwide network of more than 90 streaming stations. Entercom is the second major radio broadcasting company to partner with TargetSpot. In April, CBS Radio announced that it would use TargetSpot's technology and marketplace on its 140+ online radio station network. TargetSpot, which will launch this summer, will now be utilized by two of the top five radio broadcasters.
TargetSpot's technology allows businesses of all sizes to create, buy and place their own ad messages within streaming media. Using TargetSpot's technology, advertisers can create cost-effective customized audio, video, banner and text ads with an array of jingles, sound effects and visuals provided by TargetSpot. Clients can also upload their current creative directly into their TargetSpot account. Ads are then targeted to a specific demographic, location and/or station.
