Entercom VP biking from Boston to NYC with “Ride on Washington”

Jeff Brown, Tim Johnson, Keith HartsteinJeff Brown, Entercom’s VP/Market Manager, is participating in the first two legs of Tim Johnson’s “Ride on Washington”. He’s biking a total of 238 miles from Boston to Hartford, then Hartford to NYC. The kick off was 3/16 at Government Center in Boston. He’s riding along side cyclocross champion Tim Johnson, John Hancock Funds CEO Keith Hartstein amongst other professional cyclists and triathletes.

The 5-day, 500-mile bike event has stops along the way in Hartford, New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore. Cyclists will ride for an average of 8 hours per day in an effort to raise funds for Bikes Belong Foundation, which works to make bicycling safer and better across America and enhance children’s bike programs.

Entercom Boston is supporting the charity ride on all three stations, 97.7/107.3 WAAF, 93.7 FM/850 AM WEEI, and AM680 WRKO via on-air promotions, streaming PSA’s, display ads, email blasts and promotion on web and community pages. Brown joins 20 cyclists and like-mindedBoston business leaders for the ride, participating in the first two legs of the trip, fromBoston toHartford thenHartford toNew York City, a total of 238 miles.
