Stocks up for second day, but lose near close
Stocks extended gains into a second session Monday but closed well off their intraday highs, as a light news flow kept many investors to the sidelines. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 21.34 points, or 0.2%, to 13,117.51, led by Bank of America and dragged by AMEX. The RBR Radio Index was down 3.555, or .9%, to 375.927.
