ABC Radio will offer extensive news coverage and provocative political analysis from the Republican National Convention in New York. Scheduled coverage will include:

* Peter Jennings daily convention news headlines on ABC News Radio at 5pm ET/2pm PT from his World News Tonight desk

* Live anchored coverage by ABC News Radio Special Correspondent Gil Gross of all major convention events

* Veteran political newsman Sam Donaldson, on special assignment for ABC News Radio, will provide daily political analysis of the speechmakers and delegates

* ABC News Radio Senior White House Correspondent, Ann Compton, will be on-site each day covering her eighth presidential election in 2004.

"In addition to our broadcast booth above the convention floor, our team of ABC News Radio correspondents will be equipped with wireless laptops and sophisticated audio editing software, enabling them to produce dynamic reports from almost anywhere in the convention site. Moreover, the ABC VOTE 2004 mobile broadcast bus will serve as an additional remote studio, reporting on convention-related news beyond Madison Square Garden and throughout New York City."

RCS's Media Monitors signs Emmis

RCS's Media Monitors has reached an agreement with Emmis Radio to provide their stations with the AirCheck spot airplay data service. AirCheck's same-day, online reports analyze commercials and songs played on top-rated stations nationwide.

Tom Joyner releasing book 9/14

Reach Media's Tom Joyner is co-author of the latest of the best-selling "Chicken Soup" series, "Chicken Soup for the African-American Soul, Celebrating and Sharing Our Culture One Story at a Time."

The 384-page book is available for $12.95 and is set to release 9/14. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Tom Joyner Foundation.
