Certain AM newbies and upgrades waved onto runway

They are by no means cleared for take-off, but the plans for a significant number of brand new AM stations, plus upgrades of existing stations under AM Auction No. 84, have at least been cleared to approach the runway. The lucky applications are those for which there is no frequency competitor.

Form 301 applications are due between now and 10/29/04. Those deemed acceptable for filing, and noted as such by the FCC, will then be subject to a ten-day petition to deny period.
