Suzuki adding XM for new 2006 models
XM Satellite Radio announced Suzuki will offer XM Radio for the 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara and Suzuki XL-7 sport utility vehicles and will arrive XM-Ready at U.S. dealerships beginning in mid-September. 2006 Grand Vitara and Suzuki XL-7 buyers who activate XM Radio at the dealership also drive home with a three-month complimentary subscription to the XM service.
RAB presents sales and marketing sessions at NAB
The RAB will again produce the sales and marketing sessions at the upcoming NAB Radio Show in Philadelphia. RAB will produce nearly a dozen sessions focused on helping Radio broadcasters increase revenue for their stations as well as radio's share of all advertising dollars.
Gary Fries, RAB CEO, and David Pearlman, President, Pearlman Advisors, will examine the implications for Radio that were unearthed from RAB's PPM Economic Impact Study. Fries will also deliver his semi-annual State of the Industry Speech at the conference. A special Radio Ad Effectiveness Lab session will explore how to maximize the results of three RAEL research studies that reveal Radio's effectiveness to clients.
Other highlights include a look at the revenue-generating opportunities of Radio's new digital age featuring Joe Bilotta, Buckley Broadcasting COO and Chairman of RAB, and workshops that explore how to develop winning sales presentations, utilize station websites to create a new revenue stream, maximize the value of Urban and Hispanic formats, convert newspaper dollars to radio, and more.
