Trading on the radio side came within a whisker of matching the value of trading on the television side this week, although it took 45 stations to TV's one, a noncom at that. Cherry Creek's acquisition of small market radio stations out of the Fisher portfolio and a fairly big small market buy by Armada Media almost made up for Trinity's move into Orlando.

TV Deal of the Week
Orlando TV onto Crouch couch
A non-com in theme-park land was the top TV filing in the third week of June. Good Life Broadcasting will pocket a hefty 50M when it sends noncom indy Channel 52 WTGL-TV to the Crouch family's Trinity Christian Center of Santa Ana Inc.

Radio Deal of the Week
Fisher sends stations up the Creek
Cherry Creek took a huge step to cement its position as the premier radio operator in the small-market west, paying 33.4M for 25 stations in four Montana markets with one more in Washington state. The deal will require spin-offs in Great Falls MT
