Fisher doubles in its hometown
Fisher Broadcasting will be getting a television station in Seattle, where it already owns ABC KOMO-TV, plus a two-AM/one FM cluster, and a JSA for a second FM. 75% of KWOG-TV is coming from African-American Broadcasting of Bellevue Inc. for 16M.

Radio Deal of the Week
Station abandons its Raftt
David Gow is paying 9M to acquire KILE-AM, serving the Houston market from Bellaire TX. Seller The Raftt Corp. has already secured a CP to upgrade the station to 50 kw during the day and is seeking a second CP to add 1 kw of night service.
