Coors Light launches new advertising
to support NASCAR No. 40 car

Coors Light, the primary sponsor of the No. 40 car, driven by Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) rookie David Stremme, announced new programs to support its 2006 sponsorship and bring the excitement of racing to consumers.

Coors Light is creating and distributing "Trackside Chats" in conjunction with four races throughout the season, giving race fans a behind-the-scenes look at the world of NASCAR through the eyes of rookie driver David Stremme. During these interviews, Stremme will comment on what it's like to race in the NEXTEL Cup series and his experiences on and off the track. Stremme's first streaming audio file will be available for download in conjunction with the Golden Corral 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 19th.

Other new Coors Light programs supporting the 2006 NEXTEL Cup season include:

-- A Traveling Interactive Show Car Program featuring a Coors Light race car encased in a one-of-a-kind paneled glass case with diamond plate flooring and three interactive video game kiosks that challenge racing fans to beat Stremme's times on different tracks.

-- A cross-promotion with Snap-on Tools that gives consumers the opportunity to win a limited-edition Snap-on Cooler Toolbox or a 2,000 gift certificate to Snapon.com. Race fans who are over the age of 21 can register at participating Coors Light retailers to win these prizes as well as limited edition Coors Light and Stremme merchandise.

-- New Coors Light packaging such as 18- and 24-packs with racing graphics and a Stremme commemorative 24-oz. can, both available now in select markets.

-- In-market activities leading up to select races, including Coors Light No. 40 show car stops and appearances by Stremme at Coors Light retailers.

-- A Coors Light ad featuring David Stremme and the Coors Light Charger getting "refreshed" during a pit stop. The ad will air on Fox and NBC.

Coors Light has been a partner with CGRFS since 2000. Stremme is racing his first season in the Nextel Cup Series after three successful seasons in NASCAR's Busch Series.
