Isobar ups Gordy Abel to VP/Marketing for Carat Fusion and Freestyle Interactive
Isobar, the global full-service digital network created by U.K. firm Aegis Group, announced the promotion of Gordy Abel to Vice President of Marketing for the Carat Fusion and Freestyle Interactive agencies, effective immediately.
Abel is now responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy and day-to-day management of both the Carat Fusion and Freestyle Interactive brands. Abel previously served as Carat Fusion's National Director of Marketing, a role he has held since May 2005.
Abel will work regularly with the agencies' leaders to guide efforts such as corporate communications, public relations, industry sponsorships and events. He will also work closely with new business strategy and development departments when consulting with prospective clients.

Before joining Carat Fusion, Abel served as the VP/Interactive Strategy and Development for Euro RSCG Worldwide.
