Radio trading came back in the last week of September, at least as filed at the FCC. In fact, the value of the 14 deals which hit the database was almost equal to that posted during the 25 days prior. TV action was as negligible as it could possibly be and still allow the word action to be used - - a nomcom station moved for a buck.

A local school system in Odessa-Midland TX is turning over its nomcom television station, KOCV-TV, to Permian Basin Public Telecommunications for one dollar and continued educational opportunities for the system's students.

Radio Deal of the Week
Salem, Spanish specialist set Sacto swap
Bustos Media is getting an established Hispanic FM in Sacramento in exchange for one of its own in a trade with Religious specialist Salem Communications. We figure 25M in value going each way. Bustos also refiled a 500K acquisition of another FM, also from Salem, also near Sacramento.
