Double dipper for Springfield double
Schurz Communications is getting the non-license assets of ABC KSPR-TV in Springfield MO from Piedmont Television, to pair with its NBC KYTV, for 10,629,239. It can't own the license, though. That's going to Perkin Media for another 10M.
Radio Deal of the Week
Birmingham sleeper leads the pack
Only 50K cash and a total value of 275K was needed to earn top radio transaction honors this slow, slow week. That's how much it'll cost for WIXI-AM Jasper AL to go from James T. Lee to Walker Broadcasting Inc.
