Entravision's KLYY-FM gets Mexican National Soccer team
Entravision Communciations' KLYY-FM and Fútbol de Primera announced KLYY-FM LA/San Bernardino will be the official radio station of the Mexican National Team. KLYY will broadcast World Cup qualifying, friendly matches and the prestigious 2006 FIFA World Cup Game. It is the only radio station serving the Los Angeles market to broadcast the Mexican National Team. The first broadcast will be the World Cup qualifying match between the Mexican National Team and St. Vincent today at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Lightningcast to manage, deliver streaming ads on Windowsmedia.com
Lightningcast, a software platform for broadband advertising, announced that Microsoft will use its MediaThunder ad insertion technology to deliver targeted streaming audio and video advertising to Windowsmedia.com. Lightningcast technology will help Microsoft manage advertising for the Windows Media Radio Network, which includes more than 30 participating independent content partners featured at the Windowsmedia.com guide to audio on the Internet, a part of the MSN family of Internet services.
