Deals: 8/30/04-9/3/04
The sum total of station trading in this montly changeover week returned to the doldrums, although there was a respectable amount of volume. Three multi-market radio deals accounted for most of the value. Almost all the action was in small or unrated markets.

TV Deal of the Week
Washington moves into Montana
The ranks of minority broadcast owners willl get a boost when Darnell Washington's Destiny Communications closes on its acquisition of NBC KTGF-TV in the Great Falls market. Seller Max Media had to divest to stay within the ownership caps - - it's keeping ABC KFBB-TV. It's this weeks only TV deal, so it only took $3M to be TV Deal of the Week.
Radio Deal of the Week
When the Saints go marching out...
The non-profit world claimed the radio bragging rights as August wound into September.
