We mentioned the marketplace of ideas...well, we have it right here.

It is amazing that Alan Goodman (10/18/04 RBR Daily Epaper #203) is blind to the blatant favoritism displayed by CBS in the Dan Rather incident. When you add the systematic exclusion of the Swift Boat Veterans spokesmen from their airwaves, the remarkably bad Reagan movie (although they wisely chickened out there) and other examples too numerous to cite, it is clear that CBS is in the Democrat camp. CBS bias is systematically is expressed through their O&O stations.

Believe it or not, that's OK! That's because there are so many other voices, including Sinclair to balance that out.

People complain about media concentration, but it seems to me there are more political choices than ever before on the hundreds of TV channels, the dozens of radio stations, networks and satellite services, newspapers, movies, magazines and, not least, the internet.

We have amazing diversity of political opinion. When exposed to opinions sharply in contrast to one's own, it can sting. Why is it that Democrats can dish it out, but they sure can't take it?
