ESPN Deportes Radio gets NFL broadcast rights

ESPN Deportes RadioESPN Deportes Radio has reached a new multiyear agreement for media rights to the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons.  Under the agreement, the network will have exclusive Spanish-language rights to Monday Night Football, the 2013-2104 National Football Conference Playoffs, the 2014 Super Bowl, 2015 Pro Bowl and the 2014-2015 American Football Conference Playoffs.


“We’re incredibly excited to add NFL to our diverse roster of programming” said Oscar Ramos, General Manager of ESPN Deportes Radio.  “U.S. Hispanics are becoming avid NFL fans and this new deal allows us to deliver the content they want in the language they prefer.”

“ESPN Deportes has been a long time partner of the NFL and we are pleased to expand the partnership to ESPN Deportes Radio,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL Vice President, Fan Strategy and Marketing.  “ESPN Deportes Radio will bring more NFL programming to our growing Hispanic fan base in Spanish.”

The MNF broadcasts kicked off Monday, September 3rd with the double header- Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskin and Houston Texans vs. San Diego Chargers.
