ESPN Radio to switch Denver stations

The programming will leave Lincoln Financial Media’s KKFN (104.3 FM, “The Fan”) and KEPN (1600-AM, “ESPN Radio”) by early next year for stations operated by Front Range Sports Network, which has acquired the network’s broadcasting rights in Denver. The Denver Business Journal reports starting 1/1/12, ESPN programming will be then be heard on Front Range Sports Network’s “The Ticket,” KDSP 102.3 FM. Local programming will remain there, and national ESPN feed will reportedly move to Front Range’s Sports/Modern AC “105.5 Jack-FM.”

It’s a bit complicated, currently KDSP is ESPN Deportes and KXDP-LP (87.7) is the “Ticket”. However, on 3/31, they’ll also swap, with KXPD becoming the ESPN Desportes affiliate and KDSP 102.3 The Ticket.
