If you don’t believe in nurturing and developing talent that have the potential for a lengthy tenure at your broadcast media company, than you perhaps aren’t familiar with Entercom‘s Phoenix cluster.

Its new Director of Sales started at the station group under previous owner CBS Radio in 1998 as a part-time promotions assistant.

Promoted to the role after most recently serving as GSM is Stacy Proctor. She rose to that role in August 2012 following a seven-month stint as LSM. Before that, she was a Senior Account Executive, focusing much of her efforts on Country KMLE-FM 107.9 in Phoenix.

Now, she’s extending her sales leadership to CHR/Pop KALV-FM “Live 101.5” and ’80s-focused Classic Hits KOOL-FM.

“Stacey has been an incredible colleague for the past two years and I’m confident she is the perfect fit to lead our Phoenix cluster,” said Entercom/Phoenix SVP/Market Manager Dave Pugh. “She’s earned this promotion through the performance and her leadership that she demonstrates every day.”

Proctor added, “It may not be typical for someone to stay at the same radio stations for as long as I have, but I have been lucky to work with some amazing people and see these radio brands evolve and grow. I’m excited about the opportunities in 2018 and beyond.”
