France and Germany vowed to engineer a solution to Europe’s financial problems, which gave stock prices a boost, if only a small one. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 37 points, or 0.3%, to 11,542. But the market was mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite down for the day. Broadcasting stocks were among the gainers.
The RBR Radio Index was up 0.403, or 0.2%, to 227.322.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.727, or 1.2%, to 222.201.
