Ex-WCWA host indicted for drugs, weapons charges

GavelThe Toledo Blade reports that Troy Neff, 35, former host at Clear Channel’s Sports Talker WCWA-AM Toledo, OH was involved in a road-rage incident in 2008 was indicted 11/14 after an incident this past summer. In 2009, Neff was put on probation for two years and ordered to take anger-management classes after his conviction for disorderly conduct with persistence in Perrysburg Municipal Court. He and another man had gotten into a fight after he had allegedly cut Neff off in traffic. After that his radio show and newspaper column were both nixed.


This time around, Neff, also a former Toledo Free Press columnist, was indicted for possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, and carrying a concealed weapon after a 8/4 traffic stop where “Toledo police said they found Mr. Neff in possession of acetaminophen and hydrocodone tablets and a loaded semi-automatic pistol,” said the story.
