Execs from Hulu, Omnicom, TVB, Viacom join CRE

CRE / Council for Research ExcellenceThe Council for Research Excellence (CRE), a diverse group of senior-level research pros from throughout the media and ad industries dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of audience measurement methodology, has approved six new members: Cheryl Brink, Vice President, Digital Research & Analytics, Scripps Networks Interactive; Laura Cowan, Research Director, LIN Media; Tanya Giles, EVP/Strategic Insights and Research, Viacom Entertainment Group; Jed Meyer, U.S. Research Director, Annalect, a unit of Omnicom Media Group; Bryon Schafer, Director of Research and Sales Strategy, Hulu; and Stacey Schulman, SVP and Chief Research Officer, Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB).


“It is good that we have been able to admit these new members,” said Ceril Shagrin, executive vice president of Univision Communications Inc. and chair of the CRE.  “They will be important in helping the Council tackle the many research challenges ahead.”
