George Laughlin’s GAP Broadcasting is spinning KTIB-AM in Thibodaux LA, which as far as Arbitron is concerned is located well west of New Orleans and well south of Baton Rouge, but which Eastlan considers to be a rated market. The buyer is Faith Broadcasting Corporation of America, which will pay $700K for the station, $630K of which will be over time pursuant to terms of a promissory note. Faith’s principal, Katrina L. Chase, has an interest in a station far away, WHFD-FM Lawrenceville VA.
