Does the radio industry suffer from a “fake news” problem? Yes, it does.
Just don’t think about President Trump and Russia and CNN and MSNBC and all of the other endless yammering about what is supposedly true and what isn’t true in the wake of an election that many in Hollywood, and at NPR, are still bitterly sore about.
Instead, think of the radio industry news that’s distributed by the digital and social media denizens of the world, who think of radio as a relic of days gone by and don’t think of radio when finalizing an ad buy.
Yeah, there’s a lot of fake news about radio out there. But, who’s doing anything about it?
