Family Guy tops the night for Fox

FOXOn Sunday, FOX’s FAMILY GUY was the highest rated entertainment program of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.


·         NFL Over-run / THE SIMPSONS (O/RS): 2.0/6

·         THE CLEVELAND SHOW (P): 2.2/6, up +22% from its 7:30pm premiere last fall (1.8/5 on 11/20/11) and is its highest-rated 7:30pm telecast ever

·         THE SIMPSONS: 3.1/8, down -18% from last week’s season premiere

·         BOB’S BURGERS: 2.3/6, down -12% from last week’s season premiere

·         FAMILY GUY: 3.4/8, up +3% from last week’s season premiere

·         AMERICAN DAD: 2.6/6, up +4% from last week’s season premiere

FOX’s ANIMATION DOMINATION block ranked #1 among Teens, #2 among Adults 18-34 and #3 in Adults 18-49 last night.

Competition

The premiere of ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.5/4) tied its lowest rated premiere to date, flat with last year’s premiere on 10/2/11. Week 2 of dramas Once Upon A Time (3.3/8), Revenge (2.6/6) and 666 Park Avenue (1.7/4) declined -15%, -19% and -19%, respectively, vs. last week’s premieres.

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for CBS are approximate. 60 Minutes started at 7:32pm with prime sliding for the remainder of the night. Following an NFL Overrun from 7-730pm (7.8/22), CBS’ 60 Minutes posted a 3.8/11 from 730-830pm, Amazing Race delivered a 2.5/6 from 830-930pm, The Good Wife posted a 1.7/4 from 930-1030pm, and The Mentalist delivered a 1.6/4 from 1030-11pm. Amazing Race was even with last week’s premiere, which tied a fall series low. The Good Wife was down -6% vs. last week (1.7/4 vs. 1.8/4), delivering its lowest fall telecast to date. The Mentalist posted a series low and fell -24% vs. its premiere last week (1.6/4 vs. 2.1/5).

Following Football Night In America at 7p (2.1/6), 730p (4.0/11) and 8p (5.4/14), NBC’s Sunday Night Football Game 5: San Diego Chargers vs. New Orleans Saints posted a 6.2/15 from 8:30-11:00pm, down from last week’s Sunday Night Football Game 4 (NY Giants vs. PHI Eagles), which delivered an 8.1/19 from 8:30-11pm in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 9.0/23 from 8:31-11:42pm in the Finals.
