FCCAt this point there is only one item of the agenda for the FCC’s April Open Meeting. If you are of the mind that not being on the agenda means there will be no new and egregious rules imposed on companies like yours, you will be very happy with this agenda.

The upper reaches of radio spectrum end just shy of 108 MHz and TV is below 700 MHz and due to shrink further.

The spectrum in question at the April meeting will range from 3550 MHz to 3700 MHz.

The meeting will be held Friday 4/17/15 at 10:30 AM eastern.

We’ll let the FCC explain what it plans to address:

Citizens Broadband Radio Service:  The Commission will consider a Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would leverage innovative spectrum sharing technologies to make 150 megahertz of contiguous spectrum available in the 3550-3700 MHz band for wireless broadband and other uses.
