It’s official: Jessica Rosenworcel and Ajit Pai are now FCC Commissioners, representing the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively. And they are already listed as panelists at an FCC oversight hearing being held by the Senate Commerce Committee on Wednesday 5/16/12.
The entry of the two new Commissioners is so fresh as of this writing that the FCC has not yet posted any information about them on its website. It has at least gotten around to putting a section for each in its Commissioners area, with notation that content is coming soon.
The Senate Commerce Committee wasted no time listing the duo as panelists for its Wednesday hearing, which begins at 2:30PM Eastern. They will join colleagues Julius Genachowski, Robert McDowell and Mignon Clyburn at the witness table.
There are no other witnesses scheduled to participate.
