FCC chief begging for food

Regarding food, the stage/cinema Oliver Twist famously asked, “Please sir, may I have some more?” Now it’s FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski’s turn. He has challenged FCC staffers to raise 20,000 pounds of food to benefit food banks. It’s part of the Obama Administration’s “Feds Feed Families” campaign running through the end of this month. “The employees of the FCC have always demonstrated their ability to rise to a challenge and there is no bigger opportunity for impact than to participate in helping the community in which we work,” he said.
