FCC consumer panel set to meet

The FCC’s Consumer Advisory Committee will hold its first get-together of the year 1/30/09 at the Portals in Washington DC. The key issue on the agenda will be the DTV transition, which at the moment will be taking a place a week and a half after this session. The committee will also look into closed captioning and a handful of other areas, and may make a small amount of time available for public comment.

RBR/TVBR observation: This panel will have to have a profoundly brilliant suggestion on DTV for it to have any bearing at this late date.
