FCC fines Birach Broadcasting $10K


FCCIt’s a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture for failure to enclose the antenna structures for WTOR-AM 770 Youngstown/Buffalo, NY within an effective locked fence. WTOR is a daytime-only station, airing a primarily brokered multicultural programming format targeted primarily at the greater Toronto area. The station’s 13,000-watt directional signal is, in fact, aimed almost completely into Ontario.
