We Are Broadcasters. They Are Commissioners.

FCC Chairman Ajit Pai and Commissioners Michael O’Rielly, Brendan Carr and Jessica Rosenworcel have been confirmed as participants in four separate sessions scheduled for the 2018 NAB Show, which begins April 7 in Las Vegas.

Pai will deliver remarks at the inaugural We Are Broadcasters celebration, scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 from 3pm-4:15pm Pacific. The event celebrates local radio and television stations’ vital role in communities and their ongoing commitment to innovation, enabling broadcasters to better serve listeners and viewers.

Commissioners O’Rielly, Carr and Rosenworcel will individually appear within the NAB Show Business of Broadcast (BoB) Conference, which brings together radio and television station management executives and digital professionals to examine broadcast and digital business models and practices. It is also designed to provide insight on regulatory and legislative issues impacting radio and television.

Dates and times for O’Rielly, Carr and Rosenworcel were not revealed.

Meanwhile, a “members only” session on April 9 at 10:40am Pacific will see FCC Media Bureau Chief Michelle Carey, Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau Chief Lisa Fowlkes and Enforcement Bureau Chief Rosemary Harold participate alongside Media Bureau Audio Division Chief Albert Shuldiner and Deputy Chief James Bradshaw, and Video Division Chief Barbara Kreisman on a session focused on law and policy.
