FCC Nixes Reconsideration Of FM Translator’s Power Foul Fine

0

In April 2016, the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau found that a FM translator serving the Antelope Valley of Southern California was operating at power levels that exceeded what it was licensed for.

A follow-up visit in February 2017 found the FM translator to still be out of compliance with what its power output was licensed for, putting the wheels in motion on the August 2018 issuance of a forfeiture order, which the licensee has fought ever since.

It now appears the fight is over.
