The fate of prospective FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski and prospective returning Commissioner Robert McDowell is now in the hands of the full Senate, after the Senate Commerce Committee approved both nominations just two days after grilling the candidates. Neither candidate is expected to have any more difficulties getting past the full body than they did making it out of committee.
