Television licensees who wish to participate in the incentive auction of spectrum and at the same time remain in business have the opportunity to team up with another like-minded licensee to auction off one channel and share another. The FCC will explain how.
A workshop is on the schedule for 5/22/12 that will examine the practical implications of taking part in a channel-sharing arrangement.
Panelists will discuss practical and business challenges inherent to the program, and take audience questions. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. The session will also be made available for live streaming over the internet.
