The FCC has scheduled a staff workshop to search for ways to drive capital to small and socially disadvantaged businesses. Although the primary focus of this session will be broadband investment (what else), finding funding for investment in and acquisition of radio, television, cable and other FCC-regulated categories will also be in the mix.
The session will be held Thursday 11/12/09 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Although outside panelists will be brought in for the session, none are directly connected to the broadcasting community.
