Broadcast executives have many, many questions about the FCC’s upcoming incentive auction and subsequent repack. Questions like how much spectrum will be cleared, at what cost and how much impairment will there be to spectrum blocks offered to carriers.
A big question, according to former television executive Preston Padden, is how many TV stations will be assigned a repacked channel in the duplex gap or elsewhere.
