Two days after Nexstar Media Group struck a renewal agreement, ahead of schedule, with CBS, Meredith Local Media has just inked a multi-year deal that ensures programs such as “NCIS” and “The Price Is Right” continue to air on the seven stations affiliated with the ViacomCBS-owned network.
The new agreement with ViacomCBS ensures there will be no affiliations swaps for the following stations:
- WGCL-46 in Atlanta
- KPHO-5 in Phoenix
- KMOV-4 in St. Louis
- KCTV-5 in Kansas City
- WFSB-3 in Hartford/New Haven
- WNEM-5 in Flint-Saginaw-Bay City, Mich.
- WSHM-LD 3.5 in Springfield-Holyoke, Mass.
The seven markets combined reach 7% of the U.S. audience, serving more than 7.6 million television households.
The new pact also ensures that the Meredith CBS affiliates will continue to be available to CBS All Access subscribers.
